So far, with “art books” that has represented nearly 100% of them. If not, I close the book, and replace it on the shelf. Once in awhile I browse through art books in book stores, and when I get to the ones related to “Color Theory”, I merely glance through the index, to see if the author has at least acknowledged Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow as being the primary colors. It is quite difficult to explain why colors behave the way they do by themselves, and in mixes, if one does not first acknowledge, and recognize the scientific primary colors. Most art books don’t even have the primary colors correct.
